“My favorite part about Freedom House is how they keep connections with the scholars”

Q: Where are you from?A: Dorchester, MA

Q: What school do you attend?
A: Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology

Q: Share a memory you have while at Freedom House.A: Going to Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) and Pine Manor College and other different places to help us identify career paths after college. Going to these places really paves the way for opportunities to sprout.

Q: What is your favorite part about Freedom House?
A: How they keep connection with the scholars. The summer program is not like the average summer job employment where they would just have you there for the job. It’s a learning experience and they won’t leave you hanging even when you’re finished working.
Q: What are you thankful for?A: I’m thankful for family and God because a lot of people don’t choose what they’re born into and I could’ve been born into something much worse and there are people that have less than me so I am also thankful for what I have because it could all be gone.

Q: How has Freedom House impacted you?
A: Freedom House has been very helpful to me by helping me build connections and network with people that want to help others.

Q: Share an inspirational quote
A: “Leaders lead by example, not by force”
