Preparing Urban Students for Success in Higher Education (PUSH)

PUSH Programs works with BPS students of color who come from marginalized communities, including first-generation college and immigrant students. We found that many of our students from these communities lack resources and exposure for navigating life. We combat this by equipping them with a post-secondary plan, self-advocacy development, and life skills.
PUSH provides a holistic approach to learning, which prioritizes academics,social-emotional, professional exposure, economic development, and civic engagement.
As a result, our students graduate high school and 100% of these graduates pursue a post-secondary credential. They inspire those around them, as well as those who come after them, by breaking barriers and graduating from post-secondary opportunities all while developing a mindset to give back to their communities.
